Pastor Dan Herold was assigned to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in 2013. He grew up near St. Paul, MN and attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Elementary School for Kindergarten through 8th grade. He then attended St. Croix Lutheran High School and graduated in 2005. To begin training for the full-time pastoral ministry Pastor Herold then attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Most recently Pastor Herold graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with the class of 2013. Pastor Herold spent his internship year of his Seminary training in Wichita, KS where he met his wife Chauntae. In the spring of 2015 God blessed Chauntae and Pastor Herold with a daughter, Ellie Grace Herold.
Pastor Herold and his family love spending times outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking. They also love the privilege of being able to share the message of God’s full and free forgiveness with everyone, young and old alike!
